Hi, my name is Rhoda Smith and I am from the great state of Texas.

Though I have not yet declared a major, I am leaning toward a major in Psychology and a minor in Education. Having such a passion for teaching, I have already used my public speaking skills in several classrooms while volunteering at several different schools. I think that learning how to speak publicly is an essential part of every occupation.

Being able to present oneself in manner that is confident, enthusiastic, and intelligent is an essential part of being successful. With that said, I am excited to be able to help my fellow Scotties become better public speakers. Just as someone once did with me, I hope to be able to help someone that is unsure and skeptical about their ability to speak publicly.
