The Speaking Center hosted its annual Impromptu Speech Contest during Fall Term 2009. Participants selected a topic, took sixty seconds to prepare and then delivered a one-minute presentation. Not only did participants and audience members enjoy creative presentations, but they also dined on delicious cake and sparkling cider.
The top prize – the coveted golden pony – was awarded to Kylen Ford, a first-year student from West Virginia.
